As passionate bird hunters and shotgunning enthusiasts ourselves, we recognized the urgent need to address the pervasive issue of plastic pollution in our environment. Just as lead shot eventually faced environmental scrutiny, we believe it’s only a matter of time before plastic wads are also deemed detrimental to our ecosystems.

Driven by a desire to create a more sustainable solution, we started with a blank slate, meticulously considering every aspect of shotgun shell design. Our primary concerns were:

Our approach involved a subtle, yet significant, reinvention of existing technologies. We leveraged the proven efficacy of the nitro card to ensure consistent powder ignition and utilized the over-shot card to provide a reliable seal for the final crimp, both crafted entirely from cardboard and paper.

This ground-breaking design allows us to offer the most environmentally friendly shot shell on the market, leaving virtually no trace in weeks, not years.
